It's been a really long while since I posted. So much has happened but not all that much has changed. I'm moved into my own place for the first time which is pretty cool and I've gotten a "promotion" at work but it's really just a title change from Group Events Coordinator to Corporate Partnerships Associate.
On the topic of work; The Revolution won the Atlantic League Championship which means I get a ring! It was funny, we just got sized and I didn't know which finger you're supposed to wear it on. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next month and a half. This week is a short week because of Thanksgiving. I'll be spending it with Michael and his family. The following week I'm seeing Minus the Bear and Gina comes to town! After that Michael will be finishing up the first half of law school and we'll have our second Christmas together. After Christmas we're going to NJ to see Bouncing Souls before spending New Year's with my parents, brother, sister-in-law and the kiddos. I'm so excited.
Life is good :)

Good Friday?
Here's to hoping Friday is a good one. I'm heading back to Ohio with Michael tomorrow. It will nice to be home but not too exciting because my grandfather is pretty sick. Take the good with the bad.
I don't have too much to say but it's been quite a while since I posted. Mike a new guy at work just got tickets for us to go to the Reading Phillies Opening Day which should be pretty sweet andddd their give-a-way is a snuggie, haha. That's next Thursday.
Our season is just around the corner, literally. April 17th marks fan fest and the start of the end of my life. Good thing Michael will be free from school soon. I went up there last weekend and we went to Repo Man and just enjoy each others company. He's so good to me :)
Oh, started my other form of concealing yesterday with Anne, she's pretty cool, already helpful..but that's all I got I have visitors for lunch today...Sarah, Jess and little Ben!
Enjoy the weather!
Sing a song and spin around...or uhm..something

well i never..
Things just make me laugh sometimes.
I decided to over frustrate myself at work today..good call on that. I guess it was a dumb but eh..I'm only female after all.
Today wasn't fabulous since the start because I ALMOST forgot to wear green. Thank God for Todd, haha. Ran up stairs and changed. I dressed for spring today, for the first time. Threw on carpi's and a thin long sleeve shirt with "high" heels. I mention that only because people made reference to me being tall today.
Lunch was enjoyable. I took my bag and sat out behind home plate eating and reading my novel..which I'm almost through Steven King is a G!
After work of course everyone wanted to go out and drink, do the St. Patty's thing. Eh- I tagged along for about 15 minutes, just long enough to walk to White Rose and then back to Maewins (or however you spell it.) Didn't feel like paying $3 to listen to an Irish band (that wasn't Dropkick or Flogging Molly) and watching people get drunk so I came home.
Home was glorious. I climbed out on the roof and took a nap in the sun- trying to get a little tan-tan goin' on. Passed out for an hourish and woke up to Ryan's text about his Irish hat or something. I went running instead. Got in a healthy jog and then walked a while just thinking about how much has happened over the last year of my life. All the people I've met, places I've been, and blah blah blah.
While I jumped on the computer to turn up some music while I was on the roof- the Spill Canvas came on (their decent) and I looked up more of their stuff and found this song...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNT06T8tkvk. I really like it- makes a lot of sense of how I feel about life in general. Life keeps going and I don't wanna stop.
All alone in the still of my apartment...

Been A Long Time..
Glad to see your face I knew we'd meet again another time, another place. Can't believe it's been so many years, better grab a chair and a couple of beers.
I'm sitting at good ole Kara Walker's house working on some laundry and trying to find some healthiness..we'll see if the later part ever happens. It's nice having someone from school in the area because although this is my second trip here, I've known Kara for over 5 years now, WOW!
We play soccer together in the winter, spring, and summer which is fabulous and keeps me in shape.
It's been a good week as far as sales go but not health. Mike makes his long awaited (even though it's only be a week) arival back to PA tomorrow bright and early so regardless of how I might be feeling, I'm sure I'll make the trip to the airport with his mother to pick him up.
Oh BTW anyone that wants to go to the O's game April 13th, let me know. Uhm.. that might be all for today.. I'm sleepy and the weather isn't helping.
I MISS YOU MEGAN CLEMENTS!
and Gina and Brittany, Kristin, Becky, and Laura, Tif, Amy, Kristie, Jess, Mom amd Dad!
Just thought I'd mention a few
WooHOOO
Go Josh two innings no hits one K :)!

10 pm
It's been one of those weeks. I'm short of focus but high on demand- tomorrow's Friday so that's nice.
Last night I saw Kristen for the first time since I've been back, returned to wing night at Murph's with her, Andy, and Gold and might I add I only had 5 wings. I'm trying hard to get the healthy juices flowing. I actually just enjoyed a turkey sandwich and a mixture of almonds and cashews for lunch (and a load of water as usual.)
My book's gotten a lot more interesting this week so I've been taking advantage of my free time to get some quality reading in. Hm.. what else? Another meeting tonight with the motorcycle clubs- hoping Matt can bring better order than I did at the meeting last week.
I decided yesterday to join the Easter Seals Office Olympix Committee which I'm excited about but couldn't be on the conference call today because of a brief meeting. You can tell spring is just around the corner now, people are starting to get excited and first things first...O's won 12-2 yesterday and had 6 home runs. I like when they win because Mike's happy, haha.
I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend. I'll be driving with Mike's mom to take him and Andy to the airport for their spring break Saturday morning (I'm super jealous!) I'll also get my taxes taken care of this weekend. Hopefully I learn a thing or two, other than that I have NO plans other than finally making it to church Sunday.
As for now...back to the phones.
Soccer game tonight at 10pm hence the title (the creative part of my brain is currently still at lunch.)
Here's to a W at my game and a W with this blog.

It's the "weak"end
I'm tired but I'm pumped up and ready for a good weekend. Today was pay day, not that I have any money because this check will all go to bills. Right now I'm sitting in the office hanging tight, waiting for someone to come sign a contract then the race is on. I don't really know what that means but it should be a good weekend.
My GP right now is run some errands, clean up the house, and hmmm have all the people from work over, sounds like it could be interesting.
Saturday 7AM sharp I'll rise and shine and head to the gym for some cardio thennnn come home grab my bag and head to whatever awaits in good ole' State College- I heard it's State Patty's day or something? Aww Mike, hmm I miss him...
Welp. My customer's here...

Just Another Manic Monday
Welcome back to work.
Monday morning hmm. Waking up in Stewartstown at 3:45 am was well worth it to spend a little extra time with Mike. Hopefully this week will produce lots of sleep and a more stress free week for him. He's been having increasingly bad head aches recently and I hate it when there's nothing I can do to help. :(
Special thanks are in order to my parents, Sue, Uncle Wayne and the others that donated to our lack of furniture. We have now acquired a set of end tables, a kitchen table, a dish set, a few lamps, a TV, and 3 chairs. My bed is now in place and my room almost feels like home. Special thanks to Mom, Bruce, Ryan and Ben as well, for helping carry the stuff up our load of stairs.
Friday didn't come fast enough but by the time it was here it was nice. Mike got into town and we went to Chili's then out for Andy's brother's birthday. Saturday, after moving things in, I went back to S-town and out to dinner at Ruby Tuesday with Mike's family and met his uncle and his wife. After dinner we made it to his sister's play No, No, Nanette, Megan sings so beautifully. I'm glad we made it after the whirlwind roadtrip we had to take to get there. Afterward.zzzzzzzz
Sunday we woke up early to meet my parents for breakfast. Mom gave me some Aqua Life (Swedish fish kick) and light bulbs before they left. Mike and I headed to Shutter Island and then Batemen's for dinner. Then. zzzzzzz
What a weekend. Oh- and my soccer team won 10-3.
She shoots. She scores (Kara that is)
I might do a sprint triatholon in September I'm about 82% 18% in favor right now...what do you think?

Third week in
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
February 17, 2010
York, PA-- It's been a while since I wrote a press release for an Indiana Tech Basketball game and it would be slightly misleading to say I don't miss it all (but minimally.) Today, I'm trying to draft a new budget for myself which has presented some entertainment for a Wednesday afternoon.
It's been rather funny, my regular lunch hour includes grabbing my purple lunch bag, filled with a turkey sandwich and salad, sometimes other veggies, and heading to the back of the "bull pen", turning on MaryBeth's heater and reading my Steven King novel, "Under the Dome." I like it. It's quiet time to myself I can't really seem to find anywhere else, other than the gym.
Soccer's decent. This passed Sunday could've been better but I can feel myself sllllllowly getting back into shape. This passed weekend I spent with Mike up in State College. It was nice. We relaxed most of the time, just enjoying each other's company. He made dinner Friday night and we saw a movie. Saturday we went to Outback (he loves some Aussie :)) and Sunday before I left for my game in Lancaster, we watched some of the Rugby 7's tournament. Rugby is really sweet, something I'm trying to learn more about, and hadn't ever known much about it until Mike and I started seeing each other.
This weekend is another busy weekend. My parents are heading up on Friday sometime to move me in a little more. Mike will be in town and we're going to his sister's musical (I love stuff like that)Saturday and hopefully to dinner and the new Shutter Island movie Friday. I swear I'm going to do better getting out to see everyone I've just been super busy trying to get back into the swing of things- but soon!

Pennsyl-tucky
MaryBeth is responsible for the title of this blog and yes I am currently sitting in the bullpen typing it before I go to Kohl's and spend money I don't have to get work clothes that fit.
Hmmmm
Saint's won. That's kind of exciting and more exciting is the $25 I won in the office squares game.
More snow is coming- parents might not make it up this weekend. good news is we have inherited some end tables. woooo hoooo.
Wing night might not happen Wednesday because of a work meeting, but there's nothing new about that.
Won my soccer game last night and had a goal and an assist.
And I think that's the start of the second chapter in York

Here I am Alive at Last
this blog is beyond the obvious, created Kaylee style for an audience that gets her (which might just be me.)
The phone rang back in March-
I answered the phone, "Hello?"
"Listen, I said maybe (I said maybe) you're gunna be the one that saves me (saves me)"
I hung up perplexed.
The phone rang again in June-
I answered the phone, "Hello?"
"Say What?"
"What can I do for you?" I asked.
"I gotta a ticket come ride with me. Your love is like a roller coaster baby, baby. I wanna ride."
Still confused I dismissed the call.
Again the phone rang in September-
I answered in a disgruntled tone, "Hello?"
"We were meant to live for so much more! Have we lost ourselves?"
I began to wonder myself, stubbornly.
...today the phone rang...
"I wanna sleep with you in the desert tonight. With a million stars all around 'cause I gotta peaceful easy feelin."
I thought to myself for a minute before answering, before hanging up.
"I know that you won't let me down 'cause I'm already standing on the ground. I get this feelin' I may know you, as a lover and a friend. This voice keeps whispering in my other ear tells me I may never see you again."
Right then and there I decided I couldn't let that happen, never see you again, never hear the phone ring again, so I slept in the desert, under the stars, eyes wide, looking into a future that looking back might have never existed. I couldn't deny any longer the tune my heart beat was playing.
I'm in love and it's pretty cool.

George, he might be king of the jungle but he's a pretty laid back dude.
Man. Eight hours later I still have lots of work to do on my Marketing project but it's been pretty fun actually. It might sound morbid but I'm doing a Marketing Plan on a motorcycle hearse company. The research aspect has been pretty cool actually and I just wrote a press release for something and someone that doesn't even exist. In a weird way it's like I'm prepping to actually be able to create this company one day, which just so everyone knows, I've located in York, PA.
Anyway, I don't know where the big change came from today in comparison to yesterday. Who would've thought after being woken up at 8 a.m. to take care of a sick Bear, not really a bear, but Josh my mood would 180 from yesterday? Sometimes it's just so frustrating, ugh. I decided not to go to my regular church today. I don't really know why since this is my last Sunday in Indiana, but I decided to go to PB with Booker. I don't know much about the Catholic religion but sometimes something different is nice. It's been noticeable to me lately that Salem just hasn't been doing it for me so PB was a nice change of pace (plus afterward Booker's dad got us breakfast, mmm hmm!)
Soon as we got back I had difficulty finding my keys (procrastinating) but headed to the school to put some quality time into my project. I got some reading done first in the wellness center while biking, but then it was down to business, 8 hours of it, whew.
Blah de blah de blah.
So the REAL point of this blog is that I had a good day through and through, literally- it's about time.
Love the life you live and live the life you love.

A Blessing!
Since Tuesday morning I've been "under the weather" and can't seem to get level. I'm sitting here thinking about how much stuff I need to get done before I leave but the harder I think the less likely I am to accomplish anything because my body gets all dizzy mcdizzerson.
Today I just wanted to mention something about my friend Andi and her husband Tyler. I met them in Texas about two years ago. I've never seen a couple that shares more love for each other than these two individuals. The thing that's really pinpointed their relationship lately is the little baby girl they will be having together. For those of you that don't know my story from Texas, Andi was a major help to me. She was there every step of the way and helped me find all the resources I needed and now to hear the news of a little Leavitt baby coming into this world I am over joyed.
Thanks be to God- what a great blessing Andi was to me in my time of need and what a great mother she will be as her time comes in July.

January 2010
Welp- it's already begun. What's next for me? I am finalizing plans for an apartment in York from a far these days. I'll be moving out there in somewhere around 3 weeks. I start working for the Revs again Feb. 1 this time with the potential of some Marketing work too- oh I'd love that!
It will be so nice to get back out to what's been the closest thing to home since I graduated in 07. I'll have my church family back- I CAN'T wait for that. I miss my conversations with Megan and just hanging out with the whole crew anddd I can't wait to see Jess, Linds, Kara, Kristin, Crisbo and Phelica. I'm pumped to get back at the gym, get right, play soccer, and smile.
I've set myself up for another possible part time job..with sports clubs- we'll see where that goes. It will be nice to have a little wiggle room with my funds and to have my "own" room again.
More recently it was so nice seeing Mike and introducing him to some very important people. We had so much fun and so many good moments together while he was here. I miss him already and it's been hmmm four days- but we'll be closer again soon which will be nice. I've already made the committment to cook his roommates and him dinner once a month, whew. He met Booker, Bear, Gina, Becky, Los, Mikey, Jay, Andrew, and some people from work. Oh and Bailey- Jay's dog absolutley loves him, you should've seen them together it was so cute.
The end is almost here for my run as Sports Information Director and I hope I'll be able to prepare Antoine to take over so my boss doesn't have as much of a work load. I can't wait to get that fresh breath of air away from here. I feel like this move will be a little more permenant than my usual pick up and go, but time will tell. Teaching next year?? Coaching (even better)??
The Lord is such a provider regardless of the reasoning for the people he has most recently placed in my life. In the last week and a half my heart hasn't felt nearly as heavy and I am starting to truly enjoy my life again. I am a very wishbone lucky lady.
p.s. Jess better appreciate this post and it's dedication to her, haha.
See you all soon!
