Almost Home Free!

Mom's birthday's today and I'll get to celebrate it with her tomorrow! Before hand there's a lot of work to be done. As SID here at Indiana Tech, I have a lot of responsibility this weekend. Our Women's Volleyball Team will be hosting the first round of the NAIA National Championships tomorrow at 1pm. That being said, there is a banquet tonight and lots of different elements that need to come together to meet regulations. I'm nervous, but in the same, very excited to host.

Walsh, our opponent, arrived safely and is familiar to post season play so tomorrow we should see a good game. After the volleyball game the Men's Basketball team plays. So all in all another 8 hours and NO OHIO STATE MICHIGAN GAME! ouch. Life goes on though right?

Friday after the Men's game I'll head to Ohio to see the fam and friends. Check in with grandma, who's doing well after her surgury. Then Monday after I see the doc, I'm off to PA! I'll get to see Megan and hopefully the others. Tuesday I'll be in the ole' stomping grounds of Soveriegn Bank Stadium and then a long awaited visit with Mike :) Can't think of too many things better than that.

Early and Unexpected

Joel Osteen single handedly created my blog today:

God Sees the Big Picture
We don't always understand God's methods. His ways don't always make sense to us, but we have to realize that God sees the big picture. Consider this possiblitiy: You may be ready for what God has for you, but somebody else who is going to be invovled is not ready yet. God has to do a work in another person or another situatuion before your prayers can be answered according for it to be God's perfect time.

But never fear; God is getting everything lined up in your life. You may not feel it; you may not see it. Your situation may look just as it did for the past ten years, but then one day, in a split second of time, God will bring it all together. When it is God's timing, all the forces of darkeness can't stop Him. When it's your due season, God will bring it to pass.

To live your best life now, you must learn to trust God's timing. You can be sure that right now, God is arranging all the pieces to come together to work out His plan for your life. He has been working in your favor long before you encountered the problem. Don't grow impatient and try to force doors to open. Don't try to make things happen in your own strength. The answer will come, and it will be the right one.

Amen huh?
Well, well, well, two days in a row? I never promised these would be long but I figured I better blog before I get into my paper, which a lot is done because I really did wake up early. Today was a great day- I laughed along and got through frustrations and anxious feelings. I took the first step forward and maybe in the opposite direction everyone would think..but the right direction for me.

After work I went to circut training in the wellness center which was pretty good. It was a lot of body weight/light weight stuff so I tried pushing myself hard- it worked but afterward I ran a mile on the tredmil just under 10 minutes, nothing special but my energy level was out of control I thank God for that one because I'm been pretty down lately and most would probably attribute to not keeping him as close as I should now I just pray every day to remain faithful and for my love to find him, in his own time.

I concoaked? a unique dinner today too, just for fun. Played, well, messed around with the soccer ball a little up and down our small hallway but it was fun! Then I made my goals list and decorated it with the Ben Harper song "Fight for Your Mind." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epyocEIR_vw&feature=related. It's pretty long..but pretty fantastic too. I feel so refreshed the last two days it's awesome! I'm going to get at this MBA stuff.."if you're gunna finish you got to begin."

Do it- Go to it.

70 and sunny in November?

I can't wait for Thanksgiving. I get to be with my family, see my friends from Ohio and PA, and get to spend time with my boyfriend and his family, I'm actually kind of nervous about that :) Anyway, today was beautiful, for November.

Bear, Jay, and I went for a run this afternoon and "Team Awesome" was created. We were all wearing grey and helped some lady get into her house after locking herself out. When we got back to the house Jay started watching the Bears game and Bear and I created some new games outside..I'm not sure they compare to Dice Wars (another game we created) but they were pretty cool and occupied my time for hours. After that I sat down and tried working on school work, instead I started looking for song lyrics to empower me. While I was in undergrad I used Tommy Petty's "Won't Back Down" and the Toadies "Golden Road? (I think.)" This year I have it down to two Ben Harper songs, a CIV song, and a little diddy I wrote.

After continuing to be undecieve a little longer I met Booker and Bear for dinner at Applebee's and I'm procrastinating again..I should stop but if you're reading this you should smile...I know who you are!

Smoother than Michael Jackson's moonwalk- OUT

Kswan!
